Adventure Africa! • Grade K-3 Children gather around Gail to hear stories and view photographs of children in an East African village; discovering their diet, homes, clothing, pastimes, daily chores and school day. They touch upon the important need for clean water which is in short supply. Then venture beyond the perimeter of a rural town onto the savanna and encounter animal offspring and their parents – lion, elephant, gazelle and lizard. Gail presents a colorful visual display, sound recordings of African children in school and animals in the bush, plus clothing, jewelry, work tools and other artifacts to try on and explore.
